Dr. Cavalcanti after graduation, moved to Rio de Janeiro where he worked for three years as Surgical Resident with Dr. Ivo Pitanguy. Dr. Pitanguy is considered to be one of the foremost authorities on Plastic Surgery in the world.
Dr. Cavalcanti is a board certified Plastic Surgeon in America and Brazil, International Corresponding Member Surgeon of American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), active member of The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), member of The Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery, member of The Brazilian College of Surgeons and member of The Alumni Association of Professor Ivo Pitanguy (AExPI). Elected on 2007 new President of the Brazilian Plastic Surgery Society of Parana State 2008-2009.
